About Me

Irina Nikitovic is an Art Education teacher in Piscataway School District, New Jersey. She is a professor of Art History at Kean University and Raritan Valley Community College. Additionally, Ms. Nikitovic is a certified Arts Integration Specialist and serves as a professional arts consultant with the Long Beach Island Foundation of Arts and Sciences and a guest speaker at AENJ Convention on teaching Art to the Children with Special Needs. Ms. Nikitovic was awarded Teacher of the Year for Piscataway Schools in 2011-2012 School Year. She is also an Inspire Grant recepient and a leason with the NJDOE State Standards Committee for integrating STEAM. Ms. Nikitovic is a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Leadership with the Arts Integration at the forefront of her research.
